Leith Hill Trail Runners organise challenging, off-road events around Leith Hill, the highest point in South-East England, near Dorking, Surrey.
Our aim is to showcase the delights of running in the Surrey Hills to athletes who are looking for something challenging and memorable. First-timers are welcome, as well as those who have previously returned year after year to find out if they are tough enough to take on a hilly cross country half marathon or the UK Wife Carrying Race (with the chance of qualifying for the world championships in Finland!)
Using a local school as Race HQ, local suppliers of merchandise and encouraging everyone to car share or take public transport where they can, we are committed to minimising our carbon footprint. We also donate all of our profits (the excess of entry fee income over expenses) to a local charity.
